Author Topic: A good game recording software? (besides fraps).  (Read 1644 times)

I am looking for a new game recording software because fraps is being a piece of stuff and only capturing the first frame of my video and just stays like that while the audio continues. Is there any other good game recording software?

dxtory, but it leaves a giant watermark when unregistered

and I'm not exaggerating when I say giant

Excluding the watermark thing it also lags my footage even when I am getting a perfectly fine framerate and there is no audio

MSI Afterburner
Why does this never come up

Dxtory's default encoder is stuff. 5 minutes of footage can end up to 30 gigabytes in file size.

Lol, same with fraps. I recorded a 5 minute video and it took up 70+ gigabytes

you have to be kidding, I record in 1080p at 120 fps with Fraps and a 20 minute video was I think 3.2 gig's, lol.

That's weird, I have to clear my hard drive whenever I upload a video

I've used fraps for years and never had any issues with it except for occasional sound forget ups because I record microphone and windows 7 media.

Do you use a different encoder? There are some seriously bad ones out there.
