Author Topic: How is this recording quality?  (Read 2925 times)

Yola, this is a simple DS game.

Maybe you should know that.

Alright, but how do I record in 720p? I recorded in the best quality possible in my emulator, uploaded the video for like 6 hours, and I'm still getting 360p. Any reason why it doesn't work?
I'll look into it for you, what DS do you have?

The only thing I would suggest, would be what yola suggestedWhat crawled up your ass?
Seriously its not like its loving 144p - Stop being so hostile about everything

This isn't your place to jump in and be a vigilante, I apologized for the hostility.

Thanks for the information, but yeah I did know that.

I'm using DeSmuME's internal recorder with the Microsoft Video 1 encoding format set to the highest quality.

I apologized for the hostility.
When?

Although, your screen idea is pretty nice, though.

Alright, I'll PM you later and see what I find out

Oh yeah, nice edit.

Oh yeah, nice edit.

I edited it a good 20 seconds after I posted it, so I wasn't hiding anything there

Guys, come on, let's not start a fight.

No, I talking to the people who were telling you to stop being hostile, especially the front page.

Alright, who posted the troll comment?

Would you rather it be rotated 90 degrees so that it takes up the whole screen?

Dumbstuff.

Don't be an ass for no reason. stuff, man.

Alright, who posted the troll comment?
What troll comment?

The comment some guy called "Bob Saget" posted.

The only reason the video is 360p is because he didn't upconvert it or scale it, so it uploaded at the NDS' native of 256x192 per screen (256x384.) I'm pretty sure Desmume's internal recorder can scale.
Use a better codec than Microsoft Video. Encode it with H.264 after you record it (FFmpeg is great for this) so it can have exceptionally great quality with a low size.
