I'm not sure! but we've been to the moon, sent little robots to mars, and have had people live in space! I think we could figure out how to keep fish out of a dam, or find a way to let them pass!

Well, fish ladders work great for dams. Any fish that don't use fish ladders won't reproduce, so eventually pretty much all fish wish not care about dams.

As for underwater turbines, I'm pretty sure not many fish get hurt by those at all.

Except it is only temporary, which means that the problem solves itself. Most fish are pretty proficient at ladders. It isn't like they are going to go extinct.

But what of the fish who can't do the ladders? Won't they go extinct?

And it's preventing their spawning, so...that's not the same as killing them, but it is quite an issue.

I have never had a touchscreen work perfectly for me. My fingers stick and things don't activate and they're frustrating to use. Maybe it's just personal experience.
