Wtf I bought a much better laptop than that for $999 almost two years ago.
What happened to the whole "computing power doubles every 18 months" thing?
Problem is that it kinda melted after a while...

Here, take a look at this:

Yeah my experience has been:

Performs well
Doesn't cost a buttload of money
Doesn't melt into a puddle of aluminum and plastic

pick two of the above

>gaming
>laptop

Or, instead of being a douche and posting .gif's to laugh at him, you can read the thread and find that he doesn't want to play super high-end games on it. Wow, who knew reading could be so useful!

Get this

Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M SLI

I just came everywhere

wtf the one I linked has that too, with a better processor, more RAM, and for $100 less

Edit:  wait DUAL?  wtf with only 6 GB of RAM and a dual core processor, all the graphics power is probably going to waste...

I've got an i5 and a gtx 780. I 100% stand by what I said. You are not going to get a good gaming laptop for under 1k. You can have a mediocre one, sure, but he specifically asks for a GOOD gaming laptop. Anything that is note-worthy is over 1k.
