This can speed up the forums. Tons.
I don't know how, but I've used it before, and the forums used to be slow without it, but now they're not.

Oh, I never realized there was a mobile version of the forums. neat, now I can have a version optimized for a phone.

I do that in class on the computers, teachers can't really tell it's a forum.

The only reason the forum is slow is because of all the users, search and a bunch of other stuff. It's not anything that can be fixed by a browser plugin or update unless your browser was extremely bad in the first place. The site itself is causing it.
