Author Topic: Minecraft black screen. (Read 973 times)

I'm posting this here because the minecraft forums are slow as forget. When I start up minecraft I log in and it says Can't connect to minecraft.net I press play offline then I get a black screen. Any solutions?

click the options button and click force update, log in and let it download.

No they won't help. I tried force update but got same results. Minecraft worked on my old computer. I deleted meta inf too. Does it matter that my new one is windows 8?

Wrong section, wrong forum, little to no effort to discover the problem yourself trough google.

If you have any mods, try turning them off or reinstall Minecraft.
