KV2 needs a little fixing

The floating is to reduce collision errors when the tank drives up ramps, plates etc.
The driver position is to fit the entire body of the driver into the hull.
Nothing is wrong.

You don't necessarily need to make the collision box the bottom, just put more you know, model there instead.

Or is this not how it works?

Going over ramps and plates glitch them out.
Tanks use four-wheel drive to maneuver in BL. When they go off a ramp or plate, their front wheels move off first, causing the flat, unpropelled section of the track to touch the ground, which results in the tank stopping due to lack of propulsion. Having the tank float a little helps counter this.
