Yes it is. Anything over 30 is "extra" headroom for whatever you need. Your eyes won't notice anything above 30.
i don't notice anything over 12

Radeon HD 7790

Hahahahahaha

XFX 7950 DD

5760x1080 at 60fps with fair overclocking

Your video card is stuff and you should feel bad.

Not everyone has the money to just throw down for that kind of power you richard.

What is that thing about free games?

He asked for the best video card, not mediocre $200 ones. He was thinking about buying a $1200 video card and I gave him an equally powerful setup for $600 less. If he was going to buy the titan, he has enough money.

You get two free games with a Radeon HD series video card. I got Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3

for a cheap GPU you could do HD 7770. Should do 30+ on ultra or high.

maybe bump up to hd 7870

I wasn't going to spend 1k, I just wanna know which would be great for the game, and look into some cheaper ones.

Didn't see that. Anyhow, did he not ask for the best video card? Saying that the 7790 or the 7870 are the ones he should buy is like telling him that the best car is a go cart.

Common misconception.

I'm not going to be intensely technical about this stuff. Because seriously anything above 30 fps in a game with maxed graphics is not noticeable, consciously. It becomes a problem when you drop below 24/5.

amd is not the brand to go to for metro last light

3 titans could run that on low

that is a myth. I can easily tell between 30 and 60.

20-30FPS is generally what's considered the "playable" fps.

if you're on console or a stuffty PC, maybe. if I ever drop under 60 it's a problem, not acceptable.

Not fair :c I want those
I bought the video card and got nothing
