"Droug! Come quick!" I yell at the guy I was chatting with I pull out my handgun and suppress the officers

Me and the other police officers begin chasing the man, until suddenly, a sharp pain in my back, the officers suddenly turn around and begin shooting at the man that just shot me, one of them had their standard M14. I could already hear the man's flesh being shot open. I roll over and begin taking off my jacket and I realized - I forgot to take off most of my Minor-SWAT gear. The bullet was slowed down by the kevlar, but I was still bleeding pretty badly. "Gah, forget YOU!" I yell at the man. And to think I was sorry for him. I could hear the other officer calling for an ambulance right away.
Two men pursuing another man versus a man whose already pulled his gun and is readily aiming his weapon.

I also highly doubt that police carry M14 rifles with them as opposed to just pistols.  Also, the bullet was a .45 at short range.  I doubt your kevlar would stop anything, if not, your spine would likely be thrown out of alignment.

let's say it went through the kevlar and now i'm pretty much bleeding out
also, yesterday, there was a massacre of police and SWAT units
Also, in some areas police officers carry M14's/some other assault rifle

Very soon, a SWAT van and an ambulance arrived. And soon, an old friend of ours; a N.O.O.S.E. APC. The both began driving towards them, but neither of them fired at them, but the SWAT van began to catch up with the vehicle that was shooting at the wounded officers, but instead, it drove into an alleyway, and the APC began to drive away as well.
A) You're paralyzed so you can't call backup.
B) If you can't call backup, no A.P.C or Swat.

also, yesterday, there was a massacre of police and SWAT units
So that means every cop now carries assault rifles in their squad cars as opposed to just your average shotgun, yeah makes sense.  Also, your other officers would likely have been shot dead before they could reach the radio in the cars.

oh right
sorry i got lost in all the arguing

i pretty much lay paralyzed on the ground while the other two police officer's car is painted red on one side, so I pretty much suspected they were dead as everything began to go blurry.

I quickly ran up to the officer that I'd shot, thanking the lord for the perfectly timed drive-by.  I pat the man down for anything useful, and then lifted him up.  I put him in his vehicle, and shut the door, running to do the same for the other cars.  This way, it won't attract as much attention should any backup arrive.  I then looked around for Alex.

I drove back to go see that man I had just saved. I drove back and parked the car. I got out of the car and jogged over to the man. "Hey man, nice shooting back there."

The blurriness began to clear up, but I was still blind to anything outside my car.
Still can't believe I felt sorry for that guy. I could hear an echo, it was coming from my radio. All I could hear was "-Echoing- Report patrol statusss. Unit -unintelligible echo- .. eport patrol status."

I found Alex beckoning for me, and hurried over to him, when the man who had driven by and shot the police had approached me, complimenting my shooting.  "T'anks mon, but we ain't got much time.  Alex!  Follow me, I got stuff in m' house."  I said, turning around and running to a dirty looking home in the middle of the row.

I follow kibwe to his house. "Powerful weapon you got there."

I just stand there. "Well, they left me." I hop into my car and begin driving to my apartment to find my landlord locking up my room. "Hey what are you doing?!" He yelled back at me. "They said you were dead. Your lease is over!" "The forget man!" Now I had no house. I decided to drive back to Anna's.
