I clear my throat, nervously eyeing the squad car. I take a business card out of my wallet and force it into Kibwe's hand, putting my hand over his, "My friend, I must leave. I have business to attend to. We go drinking sometime no? Call me whenever. I'll be in town for a while." I quickly smile, nod, and begin fast walking away.

          "'Ey 'ey, where you goin' 'mon!  Nothin' be afraid o' out 'ere, ain't done nothin' wrong!  'Ave ya'?"

I slowly turn around and begin to drive in the same direction the man in the suit is walking.

          I furrow my brow, watching the police car.  I walk up to it quickly, pounding on the driver window, and begin yelling things in Swahili at the driver.

I drive away. Maxwell gets into too much trouble. He'll get out of trouble. I see a man yelling with a cop. I notice it. loving cops, rude starfishs. I'm going to go help that guy deal with the cop. I park the cop and also begin to yell at the cop.
"Why you always loving with people cop? Why you all always gotta be a bunch of roosters? Ey cop? Why?"

          I begin pointing my fingers every which way and yelling different things, shaking and nodding my head.  I catch a fight in the corner of my eye, pointng to it and turning to the officer, continuing to sputter nonsense.

I reach for my radio quickly and called in. "I have a civil disturbance here! My 10-20 is Foreman 1st Street in Bright Annex Apartment Rows!" I then hear another officer over the line "Wow, you're in luck. I'm just a block away from there. I'll be there in about 30 seconds judging on how fast I am." Very, VERY soon after having to roll my window up, another police car shows up, two officers show up, batons raised and slowly approaching.
