My buddy and I are looking for a PC Racing game.

What it needs:
Must be able to use WASD easily to control. (As much as it can be used)
Must be online multiplayer
Must be able to race eachother and bots
Must be able to run on his "meh, decentish" computer

Unlocks are great
Car customization is a ++++++++++++++++
Futuristic games are better IMO, but I don't know stuff.
Under $30 is preffered.

$20, fun fast cars, is fine with WASD (id know, nowheel pr0), multiplayer enabled, and has reasonable requirements.
i can't remember if multiplayer included bots though.
no car customization at all though.  dunno if unlocks are necessary for multiplayer but singleplayer yes.

Race F1 cars through outlandishly unrealistic tracks (wall-driving, speed boosts, jumps, etc.). Fun, but occasionally frustrating in that if you let go of the accelerator for a fraction of a fraction of a second, you might as well give up the race.

Race F1 cars through outlandishly unrealistic tracks (wall-driving, speed boosts, jumps, etc.). Fun, but occasionally frustrating in that if you let go of the accelerator for a fraction of a fraction of a second, you might as well give up the race.

They're really open-wheeled racing cars. They bear little resemblance to F1 cars.

The trick is never to let go of the acceleration button although in some tight curves you really should. It's all about the turning, not as much about the acceleration.
