HELL YEAH. I just loving passed the greatest chess players in my school and then when we were out of time (chess club only can go until 5:15) the guy I was supposed to play (an asian who has the intelligence of an omnipotent being) said "I'll take the cards (prize 2) and you take the chess set (prize 3.) I've never won any sort of championship in my life and I feel like I am floating in the clouds right now.

Funny story. I was off school and my friends decided to sign me up for the chess tournament at my school for a laugh. I went to that chess tournament and aced it like a cool forgeter and became champion. Good feels but felt like a twat. Congrats though, chess is hard.

Yeah really. Chess Club has greatly improved my playing recently though.

I have a glass chess set, it only has 1 queen per side so if I was to promote a pawn I'd have to use something else. For a while we were missing one of the queens as well.
