Author Topic: Need New Music Ideas Fast  (Read 1632 times)

I'm going through withdrawal of music because the school year is over and I don't have people to suggest songs for me to sing/play on guitar/both. Any ideas?

Genre?
I guess everything, I have an acoustic guitar so Hard Rock or Heavy Metal would probably not work...

Holy stuff. That's freaking awesome, although, I'm more of a chords guy than a tabs so I'll just sit here in awe.

Carry On - Crosby Stills Nash and Young

Should be pretty simple, just a few major chords with hammer-ons.

If you want to listen to acoustic guitar music, you should check out Tommy Emmanuel. He is like a master of classical acoustic guitar. You've probably heard of him:

Since We Met
Guitar Boogie
Train to Düsseldorf
Classical Gas (Mason Williams cover)

I've seen him live, and he's an absolute beast!

Opeth - Patterns in the Ivy (I & II)
Opeth - Still Day Beneath the Sun

Opeth are cool. I've seen them live as well, they're great!

Though if he's looking for music to sing/play, he's probably going to have a hard time with Opeth :P

I love me some Opeth. Lol I learned all three of those songs within a month, they aren't as hard as they sound.

live and learn by crush 40

Can you tolerate heavy vocals?
