Author Topic: Difference between texting guys and girls  (Read 3572 times)

anyone else like really change how they act when texting a dude as opposed to texting a chick? when i'm texting a guy friend, i dont ever use smiley faces or any of that stuff because that just seems really wewird, i dont ever use things like "lol" or "brb". but when im texting a chick i will load  that stuff up with winky faces and smiley faces. and when im texting a guy it will be something like "yea doe" but with a girl its more "lol yeah :)" or something.

idk, anyone else do this? i just found it kinda interesting.

no because i dont text people because people are dumb

probably to appeal to speech patterns and behavior of both genders (ie males aren't as expressive/emotional, girls normally panic or some stuff when you don't reply .00001 seconds after they do to you)

Pretty much all my texts go like this.

I text people very rarely and probably come off as very formal and cold
which is kinda in direct contrast to everything else ever

I do that too.

Anyways, I mostly text with girls, but when I do with a guy, I usually use similar texting. Its not as much girl or guy, rather who I'm texting. But I guess I'm a bit more on the "girly" side with my regular texting.

You called everyone dumb including yourself. Good job.

When I text guy friends: "k meet u there bby xx"
When I text girl friends: "ok I'll meet you there :)"

Actually they vary depending on the person but meh.
