Author Topic: what the heck google  (Read 1387 times)

I was watching some rogueamp video, and I went onto google search and searched something about femscout, I think it was some stupid thing like "oh does valve know about femscout", saw the results (things like "Meet the Femscout" and "TF2BANNANNA FEMSCOUT SKIN" or something like that, so I switch back over to the Rogueamp video and suddenly I hear "Woosh, bing. Haha!" (That was audio from the Meet the Femscout video) and I loving just went into panic mode, closed the results tab, the sound STILL going on from the Femscout video, and I ended up thinking I got infected by something, but when I closed Chrome completely it was all fine.

what the forget happened there.

I've had something similar happen where I close a tab playing a video, and the audio continues for a few seconds. No reason to be alarmed I suppose.

I had this with omfgdogs.com, closed it but it kept going :(

someone linked me a Katy perry song once and i watched 4 seconds of it then closed the tab.
the audio didn't stop, it kept going and it was annoying as forget, then when i thought it was over it loving looped the video and i had to reboot my computer to make it stop.

I think it's a buffering issue, I used to get it.

Why exactly are we blaming google?

lol my friend had this, he was watching research  while i was playing call of duty (and i didn't notice cause i was to into cod lol)

and his mom walked in, after he closed the tabs. but the audio kept playing and his mom was like "what are you doing"

so then i was asked if i knew was he was doing, and i said "no" cause i didn't lol.

the reason why it kept going is because you did not close the application.

in oder to fix this issue when it happens hit ctrl, alt, delete.

go into task manager and then go into applications. If Google chrome is there select it and hit end task.

if Google chrome was NOT there then go into processes and find Google chrome. select it and hit end process

This is not Google's fault. this is actually windows fault as this is an actually bug that happens in windows

This happened to me once, I was browsing on google downloading stuff, when I clicked on one of the results google gave me, I suddenly hear a fart sound and at first I thought it was my stomach, but then I clicked back and then some music started playing, I swear I crapped my pants. Then I realized when I clicked the link for some reason it opened a youtube video.

Why exactly are we blaming google?
cause we cant blame apple or obama anymore

cause we cant blame apple or obama anymore
i bet badspot did it

chrome uses multiple instances of itself for tabs and apps (that is why there are usually a billion “chrome.exe's” in the task manager, and also why chrome has its own task manager built into the browser). depending on things like the speed of your computer and the number of tabs open, there'll usually be a delay between the visual closing of a tab and the actual closing of its respective process.
