To me, SR2 was the most fun I had in the Saints Row series.
SR3 was kind of meh, the only serious moment I can remember is right at the end if you pick the wrong/bad end choice. And if you pick the good end choice, you're greeted with more sillyness...
SR3 certainly was fun, but it was more... I don't know, forced?
And seriously, where the forget is a proper funeral for Johnny Gat? Where are my dramatic death scenes goddamnit!1!!11

The "bad end" was more dramatic and gave me a better experience over the good ending.

You know you've forgeted up if the good ending is worse than the bad one.

I think I'd buy this just because of Keith David

Truedat, mate.
Bad ending is a better experience than good ending because a bad ending actually has an emotional impact on you.
Good ending is just "What the forget is going on? Why are we in space? Johnny Gat is back?! Oh, no. We're just filming a stuffty movie. GG, game."

The only fun thing about SR3 was richarding around with friends. The story was stuff and the combat became really repetitive.
This probably won't be much better, although I do expect the multiplayer to be pretty great.
I'm gonna buy it.
Reluctantly.

If Shaundi's in SR4, then the ending in SR3 where you save her is canon.

That means that STAG's Daedalus never existed and our character apparently became president from shooting a movie.
no, not our Daedalus

I liked the bad ending because I actually got to destroy a giant aircraft carrier. The movie is an "after the end" thing.

I prefer beating the stuff out of civvies over ... i can't think of a fitting brown townogy for you guys but I just like playing the damn game and having fun.

But the world in SR4 isn't real.
It's some fake virtual world made by the aliens, so they could simply pop a Shaundi in there if they wanted.

Well obviously, its the "good" ending.

Even though it's the bad ending because it's pretty loving terrible.
I'd rather Shaundi die if it meant a more serious Saints Row ._.
Yeah, I can't belive I'm saying that.

Me too. Assuming all of you have already played SR3, sacrificing the girls and the mayor to kill Killbane and being asked if it was worth it was a very good part of the game. First real emotional moment really.

They could even bring Carlos and Gat back.

But that won't happen. ;c

I dont think they would bring Carlos back. He didnt play as big a role in SR3 as Shaundi and Gat did.

Carlos died in SR2 with a dramatically sad death by truck.
