The only real downside to using puush is that images get deleted after a month if you're not a premium user, other than that it's a fine tool to use for rehosting (though I wouldn't recommend it).

they both accomplish the exact same thing so why not just use the easier way

I just explained it
pressing a keyboard shortcut is easier than typing "imgur.com" alone, nevermind the fact that puush automatically copies the url to your clipboard and you don't have to load the imgur homepage

I use a program that works exactly like all these other programs that have gone through fads of use on this forum
The only difference is it doesn't have any of the downsides (Gyazo's bandwidth limit with the x( face, what Kingdaro said about puush, etc) because it can upload to other mainstream sites such as imgur, tinypic, photobucket, imageshack, or even a custom ftp server.

In addition to image uploading, it also supports file uploading, text uploading, and url shortening

It's called ShareX (previously ZScreen) and I've posted about it every time I've seen one of these "quick snapshot vs manual upload" debates come up but no one ever seems to care. I have no idea why because it would resolve both side's complaints and provide what both sides want
