I wasn't doubting you, I was just curious what a $1000+ furry commission would look like.

Depends on what your definition of art is; it's a very broad subject that encompasses more than a piece of paper (or computer image, or canvas, whatever) with lines and colors on it.
To me, a fursuit could qualify as art, and those routinely sell for over a thousand.

I've just been really bogged down by work, and never have as much free time as i would like. Which is just another reason for my pricing.

It's just annoying working as much as i do and getting pretty awful paychecks as bad as i get.

Assuming someone charges $30 per full colour picture

Assuming 1 comic page is $30: 33 page comic series
Assuming 1/2 comic page is $30: 16 page comic series
Assuming 1 panel is $30 and each page averages 7 panels: 4 pages

Maybe not a series

Then again you'd probably be turned down since making comics takes a stuffton more time than an individual picture
