You haven't even begun arguing the subject with me. Assumptions much.
How about no.

You haven't even begun arguing the subject with me. Assumptions much.
uh yeah, because you're too stubborn to listen. it's not an assumption, it's something I already know

Can you stop?

it's something I already know
Um, proof?

Because So far, I'm open to hear what you have to say. I don't see how you would know anything about my stance until you've made your point.

It is by all means, an assumption.

Um, proof?
excuse me
what?
how do you suppose I could prove to you that you are stubborn? by showing you some posts that you made? that you would say didn't prove anything, because you were too stubborn to admit that you're stubborn?

okay... you don't suddenly change loveual orientation. that is what I have to say, and it's all there is to say

Well for one If you did bring up any posts that would "prove" my stubborness, I can merely tell you that that was a different subject at a different time. You have merely assumed I would be stubborn in this particular situation. But you got me, I'm being stubborn about you thinking I was going to be stubborn about the subject of rapid loveual orientation changes :y

Also surely there's more to it than JUST that. I was hoping for you to follow up with a scientific study or perhaps a few points to back up your statement. I do agree in the realm of things that it just doesn't happen in one fell swoop. But I think loveual preferences can change in just a short amount of time. :)

you always could
they don't change. if they did, it would imply that it wasn't determined from birth and that you could change back whenever you wanted to
but it is, and you can't

Seriously guys? Just stop fighting and grow up..

but it is, and you can't
Yes I can :)

I don't believe genetics keeps that harsh of a grip at all. Where you believe in hard-wired programming, I believe in Human discipline and decision.

Overall, just because someone believes the opposite of what you preach, doesn't make them stubborn. It makes them people who are more convinced in the values on the other side. That is the point of debate, to present your points and let the opponent judge whether or not he/she will accept it. I'm more and more inclined to your views each day, however I don't feel I have enough on it just yet to push me over the edge to embrace it.

Perhaps sowing some seed before writing your opponent off would do you some good. :)

Jesus, maybe he wasn't completely sure before and is more positive now? He obviously didn't change from gay to bi, but what if he simply realized that he's actually bi after thinking he was gay?

This shouldn't be an issue and you both need to calm the forget down. It's his loveual preference, not yours.
