The best (real) reptile is Bearded Dragon and they have soft underbellies so yeah do the math.

Are you going by some thought up fantasy, or actual lore? Because last time I checked dragons were supposed to be reptiles and reptiles are cold blooded. Ergo, their bellies couldn't be always warm.
