Well, say a gryphon and dragon got forgety forgety. The most to technically come of it would be scales on the underbelly, and maybe a bit of change to the legs.

Gryph and dog, the legs would appear more canine, as well as tail, and maybe even ears.

Then again, gryphons are a great medium. Like when there's a horse involved, the lower half can become equine.
