Alright then, master. Not speaking any latin-close languages like spanish or italian, some of them might not be too obvious.

Panthera Onca - Jaguar
Panthera Leo - Leon - Lion
Panthera Tigris - Tigre - Tiger
Vulpes Vulpes - Zorro - Fox
Canis Lupus - Lobo - Wolf
Canis Lupus Familiaris. - Perro - Dog

See what I mean? Out of all of them, a few spanish words actually are similar to the latin term while the english ones, only Tigris and Leo are close.

Spanish is a Latin based language

how could he even be surprised like that women get fat when pregnant

If you know someone that breeds dogs, you'd know that there's basically no visual difference between a fat dog and a pregnant dog unless it's weeks before birth.

Spanish is a Latin based language

You don't say?

I do say

Allow me to rephrase that.

No stuff, Sherlock. Come in my office tomorrow for a reassignment.

I don't speak spanish or italian. the only one that confused me was the jaguar
and I said well-known, too, which covers all the canines

guess Tursiops truncatus
it's the only weird one I can remember off the top of my head

except they're not dogs, they're anthro, and there definitely would be a visual difference

Allow me to rephrase that.

I'm just being a smart ass, cool yer jets.

guess Tursiops truncatus

I guss it's some kind of big trunk tree that likes water.

EDIT:
Bottlenose Dolphin. Damn.

I guss it's some kind of big trunk tree that likes water.
it's a bottlenose dolphin

"truncatus" has nothing to do with tree trunks, look up the word "truncated"

Guess Acinonyx jubatus

"truncatus" has nothing to do with tree trunks, look up the word "truncated"

Tronco comes from the word Truncatus. Tronco translated to English is Tree Trunk.
