If you wanna get really nerd technical you can always pull the Quantum Dynamics principle and state that you maintain a quantum connection to some galaxy or entity  in existence somewhere.

But mostly ish just try-hard wanna-be derps.

I guess otherkin people might seem weird bc it's such a foreign concept or something but it's not really any different than transgender people. species dysphoria is as real as gender dysphoria
