yeah, it would. furdle kicks a lot of people when they join, and drama topics are often made about him for that reason
and the general consensus in those topics is that he should just use a password if he wants to keep people out

if people seriously get pissed off over a whitelist of any sorts
i dont even know what to say. they probably shouldn't be on the server in the first place.

also "often", give me at least 5 of these topics relating to whitelisting.

I agree with parrot on this one, though. As simple as a password is, it's still not to hard to add a couple of names to the server. And honestly, those drama topics are probably made by a bunch of undesirable stufftards anyway.

I'd rather use a whitelist because its easier than changing the password each time it gets leaked. And I don't feel like constantly telling people the new password.

do keep in mind, my idea would just kick upon connecting with a perfectly legitimate reason telling them how to get in. they wouldn't be banned.

I made a quick whitelist mod. You can add the files manually or just type

/addtolist blid

I have no idea how to delete files so you have to manually delete the files to unwhitelist someone. In theory, it should work. I tested it solo and I can confirm that it doesn't kick the host even if his BL_ID wasn't added to the list.
