That's only a fraction of what professional artists truly charge for their works. The only reason smaller artists around this fandom keep their prices so low is because people would complain otherwise.

Yeah no kidding. That art is way too cheap.

Seriously though. Gotta understand that custom artwork is not and should not be cheap. Considering Ontario's minimum wage, it'd be about $110 for something that would take me 10 hours to make. That's minimum wage. People can't live on that. The fact that people do commissions for cheaper is actually hurting the market. Other artists that actually ask for prices that help them live are getting less attention because someone who may or may not be equal in talent is asking like 1/4 the price.

I would never pay for a cheap commission even if the artist were better than another one.
