It wasn't even the usual gross stuff, and I'm not talking about simple researchographic depictions of him. 'Cause some of em were pretty damn good.

But, I've decided not to go into describing what I saw or link to it, because you people would probably just tell me again about how "anthropomorph" derives from the Greek word for Human, and about how that means it's totally cool for furry artists to essentially draw Human bodies then stick loving animal parts on 'em here and there.

Many of these artists being people that often make or commission rather misanthropic "lowly little Human who tires their weaknesses and boring-ass life one day transforms into something amazing and feels way better than ever" stories and drawings, where Humans are always drearily shown as all being corporate slaves whose lives have no freedom or purpose, and where [insert non-Human species that the protagonist turns into] are shown as being totally happy and free of all those shackles that are apparently Human-exclusive.

Why do people that apparently dream of becoming something awesome and non-Human wind up drawing characters that are like ninety eight percent Human and two percent something else? It makes zero sense to me.

I'm gettin' real sick of pointless garbage like this response of yours. I ask a question, often at length, and you all just your shake heads at me like I'm loving stupid or something.

I just think it's contradictory of many furries to be so escapist and hopeful that they can one day become something that isn't Human, yet almost always quarter-assing it when coming up with the body of a character of theirs and settling for something that looks mostly Human.

Furries aren't hoping to become non-human entirely (and I'm sure not all furries even dream of something like that), but just what you describe: a mix between animals and humans, and for lack of a better phrase, keeping the best of both worlds.
