Regarding weaknesses and flaws, DeNihil may actually have a few. High voltage electricity can break the bonds between his nanobots, temporarily reducing him to an immobile puddle of goo or pile of sand. He is still alive and aware, but he can't move without the nanobots being able to create physical bonds with each other.

Actually, forget all of that. DeNihil isn't some pansy-ass bitch Robot that shorts out when getting splashed with water or whatever, and I am sorry I ever tried to defile and disgrace him like so.

These characters, these heroes, should be something for us to aspire to becoming like. It's a complete waste of time to try shoehorning a bunch of miserable little failures and shortcomings into the characters of our dreams. The only reason anyone does that is so they can avoid criticism from jerkoffs who spout terms like "Mary Sue". Those who do whatever they can to avoid such petty criticisms are cowards without integrity.

Heroes don't deserve flaws, and getting seven billion fallible loving fools to 'relate' with the heroes should never be a goal for a writer.

I don't really want to be a hero, I just wanna be a normal, likeable guy. I don't really feel like becoming power incarnate.

maybe that's just what they want to make?? why are you such a rooster?

If hereos didnt have a single flaw they would be boring and stupid as all forget.

maybe that's just what they want to make?? why are you such a rooster?

Because all the people who think they're 'critics' are roosters. Positive reception for DeNihil is rather few and far between, but I've decided that I should not try to appease those people by changing and weakening him.
