I just find this hard to believe that you could get reasonable evidence from ONE source.

Well there aren't exactly a lot of other sources.
Excluding booru and chan type sites, the only options are FA, Inkbunny, and Weasyl
Weasyl is still beta and hasn't really caught on all that much. But I checked it anyways. One page (66 submissions) had 17 (~25%) submissions with a colored border: 1 Moderate (13+), 5 Mature (18+ non-loveual), and 11 explicit (18+ loveual), half of which was a sketch dump all from one artist
Inkbunny has a reputation of being "for creeps" because cub research artists moved there after FA banned cub research. I don't really feel like going through it, because they don't have color coded thumbnail borders like the other two do, and I'd have to inspect each individual image

Obviously the numbers have increased since then, but I'd say it's a fair assumption to say the percentages have stayed about the same
