When duder broke up with me I got hit really loving low because of many reasons and get diagnosed with borderline and depression. I didn't want to take the medication and used things like distraction and cannabis to keep myself from breakdowns and selfharm, or worse.
Before I went here I had less people to talk to than you can count on one hand, and it got really bad for me. So I resorted to this place. It helped a lot.
Of course it didn't cure and I still get forgeted up a lot, but I'm still alive.

There is no rockbottom

there are so many things that can make you upset in the world.  sometimes it can be good enough just to walk outside and stare at a patch of grass and see how many bugs you can find.  just because your childhood is far away doesn’t mean you can’t return to it and visit once in a while.

there’s no such thing as “rock bottom”, and that can be a good or bad thing.  there isn’t an end to how happy you can be, and in turn there is no point where things couldn’t get any worse.  in this way we are so free though, we float freely along this emotional river back and forth up and down and it takes us all over the place and that’s incredible and hard to really get a grip on.

what good is dying if you hate the world you live in?  you’ll just turn back into it when you go.  I fail at this all the time, but I want to work hard to make my world more beautiful so I can be a part of something beautiful when I die.

After being pretty much homeless, going broke and out of hope, there's less of a rock bottom and more of a point in which things couldn't possibly get worse. It's not a point at which you can be at, just a point in which everyone can agree that it's the worst possible scenario compared to your current conditions.

For me, that worst point was sitting in a car, not knowing what to do or where to go because it was easier to give up.

It's better to weigh your options, force yourself to be positive and take it one step at a time. Instead of thinking things could get worse and settling with what you have, get pissed off that things aren't better than they could be and force it to be better.

Altho this is from experience, and it may or may not apply to your predicaments
