I think that's referring to a painting (or just a commission basically) as in you made it.

The article is specifically referring to paintings, but this copyright law applies to artwork in general.It's just what I found first, because (I'm assuming) physical paintings are the most commonly commissioned work

Krok I really would have expected better of you. I get your whole shtick of not being sorry for something you can't help. You didn't choose to be born into money. However the least you could do is not make a funny out of it, this isn't a joke for most of us this is a nightmare.

There are millions of people out there who aren't lucky enough to afford college. Selling our prized possessions becomes a last resort to keep us in school or in our homes. Some of us have to put school aside in favor of working one or two jobs to keep a roof over our heads. In my case I was denied help from a rich family member while my brother received upwards of $60,000 all because my brother has a snake and I don't.

This really isn't funny at all.

People are talking about taking out loans and borrowing money and you have one high profile artist offering commissions as help. This could have honestly gotten a lot worse if allowed to continue so I think a few people getting mad before real damage is done is the best possible outcome.
