because when it comes to a 24/7 chatroom with no effort to make, skype is pretty good

cus it's rarely voice chat (I think there was one real call and then another one that lasted like two minutes) so text is a necessity

This kind of falls under the "trying too hard" category for me. Or maybe it's the art style that's making it look less than great. On another note, the guy should really wear looser briefs; that's gotta hurt.

Every time I see someone say this it's just a fed up hipster wanting to use old services (becuz u cant beat the classics!!!!!!), but can't because all their friends aren't dank enough to use anything but skype

Never had a single issue with it. Hell they even gave me a year premium for free last year.
Even without premium now, not a single ad anywhere. Calls are always good, Skype is never at fault for me, never have microphone problems, never have connection issues, nothing at all.
