actually, I dont even really have any "furry" characters, all of mine are either feathered or scalies

is there a general term for characters who obviously aren't human beans but aren't some species of animal either? because "non-humans" doesn't roll off the tongue and "robots"/"aliens"/"furniture" is too specific

cus I have a lot. usually they start out as a throw-away character for a purpose (mostly roleplaying) but then I decide I like them so
