i was just semi-sick of seeing people talking about loving each other every time i come into this thread so i voiced my opinion

like damn i understand that as furries we're inherently wierd but the oversaturation of loveuality stuff in this thread is taking it way off the deep end

To be honest this thread went way off the deep end as soon as it was created by most people's standards. Its probably just the amalgamation of different people enjoying different things within a confined space that is throwing you off, after all it is the Furry mega-thread and ten's of people come here to talk about what they like. plus most people here know each other pretty well at this point, so fake gay (or real gay IDK) jokes are going to happen.

I was thinking about having my comic for class being loosely tied to this fandom, more so on the idea of being part of a community your friends don't like/understand mostly do to slander on the internet that is mostly untrue just a wee bit. Almost none of my friends know im a furry in real life, but have voiced strong opinions agents them so I have been scared to death about what would happen if they found out, even though I would consider myself fairly light on the furry side, I pretty much have this site and a FA account to have one, other then that im pretty out of it, I just like to draw anthropomorphic art. I think its a good idea for a story, but im worried about what my teacher would think of me, this being a story based on my personal life and all, especially considering she actually likes me as a student, but on the other hand I don't have any other personal stories that would be good to tell. Im honestly stumped here, luckily I have the rest of the week to mull it over before I have to get started. Any suggestions?

be yourself, there's nothing wrong with being a furry unless you shove it on people's faces. if anybody is disrespecting you simply for being a furry (and not shoving it on people's faces) then they are being immature and should be ignored. of course, you don't have to tell anyone, unless you really want to, but that's up to you. life is too short to live it trying to look good for others; just do what you think is best for you.
