Did your friend know you were getting it for them, or was it a surprise. If it was a surprise would they okay with you using their character?
As for Vinny, do you think he would be okay with his ex (That he parted with on bad terms) using his character to get art without his permission?

it is mine. i requested it. he now wants it dead, he said this and i cited that. its been over a year since he even did anything with it.
meanwhile ive been getting the character art and slowly have been revamping it because hey she means something to me and i dont want her to rot (:
