I'm actually interested in knowing why its cringy to normal people. Is it that the discs were badly treated and thus sound distorted?
Not really. That type of "all in one" turntable, and ESPECIALLY the "Crosley" brand, are extremely infamous for being horrible quality and, worst of all, ruining records pretty quickly. Playing sought after records like beatles and pink floyd on those is like sacrilege.
