I cringed. I cant stand animal abuse

Well it died so that's more than just abuse.

Let's hope it died, cause that abuse would be worse than death. :(

um i dont think the dog was hoping it would die

If it didn't die, it'd get euthanized most likely.

yeah but my point is i dont think that animals are capable of romanticizing death the humans do. like, dogs don't look at death as like an escape or relief from pain, they only see it as dying and they really, really dont want to die.

Dog probably didn't even know it was about to die until it was physically falling, though.  Same way with a human, except they'd be able to tell if you were dragging them to the top floor of a building or whatever.

The stereotype that you just invented on all humans romanticizing death is strictly your opinion too. Some humans responsibly find therapeutic help for whatever problem they have.

umm wtf

like i dont want to die but i think if i stepped on a landmine i'd rather just die than lose all my limbs and live the rest of my life in hospice.

a lot of people feel the same way and it's pretty much an exclusively human trait to prefer death to prolonged suffering

errr, not really. some animals are the same. kinda like how scorpions sting themselves to death after prolonged periods of pain and suffering

Still looks completely biased.  I don't think there is really a way to think for the majority by saying 'a lot of people'.  Not really a way for me to argue that the majority would rather want to live life to the fullest.  It all depends on the crowds that we've hung around.  Pretty invalid argument either way.
