It can actually be pretty fun to design your avatar and talk to people, just stay away from the weird spots.
Anyone else ever play around on this game like me?

oh jesus christ i remember my first time playing this

there were sluts everywhere where I spawned
naked woman clothing advertisements

i never went back
i never want to

I find it funny that naked women is what scared you off :P

Give the game a chance and this time don't teleport to Big booty bitches land.

second life sucks dude
there are so much easier ways to talk to people
without having to look at weird character models of furries and ponies and people

I mean, I guess I see the appeal? but that just adds a weird aspect to it imo

Its pretty much character customization: the game.
Atleast thats what appeals to me about it. You can bring in your own textures/models/sounds and use them however you want.

Cashcow: The Game*
Getting linden without paying anything is a forget.
Even if all you want is to socialize you need to pay $1000 for everything you'd need to do so in it's whole meaning, if you don't get any Linden stuff you might as well as stick to normal chats.
I mean really what the forget is up with Second Life this stuff is stupid.

Pay a thousand dollars? what? No. Nowadays there are TONS of free high quality items now.

I get what your saying but its really just not true

A while ago in my intercultural communcations class, we were talking about identity and cyber identities, and how people can create an avatar to represent them. The teacher brought up second life, and mentioned how some people don't even play a human, but play animals instead.

But yeah I tried this a while back and never could get into it.

So how much can i screw around in this game?
