Author Topic: Roleplay save-a-life system  (Read 441 times)

I was playing a GTA: SA server, and I saw a nice system that prevented you from dying too quickly and making it unrp -

Once your health depleted, you would, instead of dying, would play the death animation and have to wait for EMS.

Now, I think to make this add-on compatible with most roleplay situations, you would have to leave out keywords like EMS, because then there might not be any EMS in a wasteland RP, so your best bet would be waiting for a helping hand with a medkit or such. Of course, there would be a command to just end your life instead of waiting to bleed out. I think this should work in conjunction with RP names, so that you can't stay as the same character once you die.

Rotando's Zombie Mod?

i think that only works when you're killed by zombies...

Uh, no, I'm pretty sure it's people too :)

i'm pretty sure i don't want everyone on the server to be alerted that somebody is downed. i also don't want some weird symbol appearing over their head. i also didn't exactly want people who should be barely living to be able to shoot back. it would be great to have them be frozen in a dead animation, but the zombie mod doesn't do that and it would be weird to have that going on in a server where local chat is on. suddenly everybody knows someone is bleeding out across the map.

Oh, I get it.
