Maybe because Mario actually fits, and I get the whole "ohmg pokemon big sellr for Nintendo better add more" but they're taking it too far. I would be fine if all the Pokémon could be selected from ONE character tile, and such but it's going to pain me when I boot up smash and find the majority of the screen filled with Pokémon.
Look at Metroid? Where is Samus's double or counterpart? Ridley? forget no. Sylux? Maybe. And what about Captain Falcon's? (Assuming they don't drop him).
Same goes for fire emblem, sure Ike was in brawl to back Marth but still. They need more from current franchises rather than adding in more Pokémon.
At least they did something right and added the blue bomber. I hope Capcom contributes something other than old franchise items and a final destination that looks like the soul caliber.
Might as well call it Super Pokémon Rumble now, because that's where its heading.
