Jeff from earthbound would be a kickass playable character
his entire moveset could be based around him not having PSI but still being completely over-the-top and badass
so like snake, but with sci-fi gadgets and a complete lack of any close combat attacks
like literally he has NOTHING BUT LASERS (AND STATUS DEBUFFS)
duster would be cool too.
his final smash could be him wall stapling somebody and kicking the stuff out of them.
scary mask would be a taunt. rope snake would be his grab, duh. hypno pendulum could be a b move, neutral b could just be him throwing a wall staple and not pinning with it. siren beetle could function like an AoE mario cape, turning a bunch of people around within the radius of the beetle. one of his smash attacks could be him whacking someone over the head with his string bass. oh and i guess tickle stick could make people trip or something.
oh stuff REVELATION
his final smash could switch him from duster to lucky, sort of like samus's final smash in ssbb. so his dcmc final smash could be something like
this or donkey kong's smash but bigger. and his other final smash would be the wall staples thing.
edit: and lucas' final smash should involve the magypsies or something
