Jigglypuff is a pokemon, which was originally called Capumon, or Capsule Monsters.

Yoshi can put things into capsule-like eggs.

Ness and co. eat capsules to boost their stats.

dunno about Samus and Captain Falcon, but Samus is obviously going to be in the game.
