Tiers are usually used when categorizing advanced tactics and such.
This isn't the case, the little things are what often win the battles.
Move speed, drop rate, hit boxes, run speed, weight, and recovers all play a part in tiers.

Meta Knight is top tier because of transcended priority, the "priority" being that he can hit you through almost any move, even if you're mashing the forget outa buttons.
Luigi, Olimar, DDD, Peach and Diddy all have some form of transcended priority.

Ice climbers is way up there because of "waddling" the ability to De-sync your second person and chain grab/spike the opponent off at 29%.
DDD has so much weight it would take at least a smash from Captain falcon to send him off even at 150% HP.
Meta knight has his downsides, but that is ignored because of his amazing priority.

Tiercigarettes are literally the best Smash Brothers fans *Fixed*
Before this I was a richard who didn't even know about the game, I actually put time in to this and now I'm 2nd regional in Arkansas.
So before you call someone a "Tier cigarette" make sure you know the actual benefits of being one.

maybe you just cannot r.o.b. or jigglypuff

Rob is a joke, and I only use jig for casual. His rest is pretty good imo, but tricky to pull off.

I just love it when noobs can't Jigglypuff and immediately assume it's the worst character in the game.

I'm just bad as Jigglypuff. Like, really bad.

Rob is a joke
not when everyone has 300% damage and rob is using it's final smash

All I ever play is Project M or melee, brawl is pretty bad.
But no one can beat my marth

bahahaha
brother actually plays brawl ~competitively~

Who wouldn't?

Its fun, gets you a surge of adrenaline, and you can brag about it to your casual trashbad friends.

Is it just me or does anyone else wish for Jigglypuff to be in SSB4's roster?
Yeah, there has to be at least one joke character.

I'm fairly sure Jigglypuff wasn't a joke character.

I'm sure we've only had 1 joke character

Also, Jigglypuff is almost guaranteed for Smash 4, since he's one of the original 12.
And yet, nobody has noticed Captain Falcon has not been confirmed yet.

maybe some people want to play a game the fun way instead of worrying about insignificant crap like hitboxes and weight?

Are you kidding. This is not a competitive game. It has WAY too many randomly occurring things that could completely change the course of a game. A victory in this game does not mean you are skilled. It means you are maybe skilled but maybe you just got lucky instead. Competitive games are based on who has the most skill at playing the game.

itt: hardcore vs casual
