Mega Evolutions were based off of Pokemon that were frequently used in competitive pokemon I believe.

He still should have one tho he's loving awesome.

well three rings would have to be okay with it
i don't think it'd be too far away from link (for example i suppose the b would just be a faster version of the bow cuzothegun and i guess almost every attack could be charged. and i have no idea what the final smash would be so i wouldn't push it honestly)
and iunno i'd say put akiyama or kazuma in instead

Moves would Probably be:
B:Fires blaster in the direction they are facing
Side+B: Shield Bash in the direction chosen
Up+B: Dash upwards
Down+B: Throws a Proto bomb below them
Final smash: Pulls out a Blitz Needle and shoots a Ton of shots in the direction facing, dealing a lot of damage and Knockback
