Well, Pokémon is Nintendo's 2nd largest franchise, so I guess they somewhat deserve a big role. Still better than a cloned Mario and Link character.

Well, an earlier interview stated that if they were to go over every character in detail it would take them 2 months of screen time.
I don't know what that exactly means, but I'm guessing you guys better have a stuff ton of memory on your DS and WIIU.

Nintendo has a habit of changing things that are most likely going to piss people off for like a month and then later be appreciated as good choices. Like how v21 ended up. Almost everyone apposed the idea at first, but then people really liked it.
