Fallout 2 is my favorite Post-post apocalyptic game. It shows that humanity is starting to rediscover technology and leave the new dark age behind. FO3 reverses that and makes it look like the bombs were dropped yesterday.

At least New Vegas brought back the idea that the world was recovering. I'm just looking forward to Wasteland.

I've played and beat NV. I didn't like the main quest of searching for Benny since the game focused more on the politics between NCR and the Legion. Plus you weren't given much of a reason to go after him other than to get that chip, for what? It's value is explained later, but early on to the character it is a just a casino chip.

Having played both FO3 and NV i can safely say I hated both of them and even with modding they were both completely over-rated.

After playing all the Fallout games I can safely say that Fallout 3 is the worst.
It's still a "decent" game but honestly compared to everything else it's just meh.

Also the whole DC warzone thing was pretty stupid since ammo and guns are suppose to be scarce in a wasteland.

Why? Like I understand if you don't like them, but I hate when people say they hate something and don't even give an explanation as to why...

i only played fallout 3 and its kind of really boring. i just end up killing everyone i run into eventually because there is nothing else exciting to do.

Pretty much go somewhere end up killing every thing and return to someone for caps. If you take hits, pause in the middle of battle and click on the stim packs.

The story was unengaging, wandering got boring quickly, weapons were easy to come by but pretty meaningless as soon as you got your hands on a gun you really liked, the war between the two factions was also pretty meh, the gunplay itself was clunky with the chance based hit even if you fired directly at a target down your sights or scope(I modded that out extremely quickly), I've never liked anything about VATS, enemies got stale quickly, it tried to hard to be serious at a few points and the same goes for humor at others.

Let's recommend some mods for F3.

Weapon Mod Kits
Martz Mutant Mod
GNR mod that adds more songs
Project Beauty
FOOK 2
Personal Cheat Terminal (Rule of Fun ye damn purists).

And there are plenty more, but those are my favorites.

I enjoy texture packs as well.

NMC's is a nice one.

Bump.

Finally made it to the strip on New Vegas!

I like FONV more then FO3. Their we're no iron sights in FO3 right?

Fallout Wanderer's Edition is a must for a challenging game
Same with most weather mods that add radioactive rain
DC Interiors makes exploring the DC area a lot more rewarding and fun. Adult Bookstores are the bomb.
Weapon mod kits
Stutter Removers
Backpacks
CASM for those pesky crashes!
Darnified UI for a more PC HUD

Not unless you mod them in!
