the ps4 has the equivalent of a 140 dollar vid card. it dosnt take much to render 1080 on a tv. tvs cant handle anything fancy like a pc can anyways, so you dont need good video card in a console. and pcs DO use controllers if you want. for any game.
what the forget are you even saying?  It takes as much to render 1080p on a monitor as it does to render 1080p on a TV.  And because you actually believe consoles/tvs are magical, why don't PCs have this magical ability to render literally anything?  But I guess your idea of quality is resolution (1080p is STILL the standard for PC monitors, it has been since about three years ago).  TVs don't don't calculate graphics, they're like a monitor.  In fact, you can use a monitor with many consoles.

Found it strange nobody else posted the video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuVl5Tm-R9U

Apparently the video has been taken down multiple times due to copyright claims by Microsoft.

I haven't had the drive to buy a console for quite a few years of my life. I think the next console I'll buy next is a PS4

the xbox one seems to be turning into another TV reciever.

They named it after how many sales they're going to make on it.
It all makes sense now...

I find it really dumb that they're switching to full online so you can play with your "friends". I loved sitting in the living room with my friends in real life playing Smash Bros or Mario Kart.  Why hang out with your friends in real life, when you can hang out with them on the internet?

That's just what they tell you. The actual point of the forced online mode is so they can monitor you 24/7.

Why would they care to monitor you all the time?

actually no.
you think all a game has to do is render resolution? you definitely are a console boy for life arent you lol.

computers CAN render much higher then 1920x1080, with support from games. and there are monitors to buy that support this as well.

both microsoft and sony are bragging about how the new systems can "run at 60fps!!!!!!" lol... like welcome to this decade.

tvs do not have true colors
tvs do not have color corrections.
consoles hide lack of AA under extreme motion blur.
consoles have half the draw distance on pretty much every game.
lower resolution on just textures (not necessarily the overlay resolution)

and yes im talking about the ps4 and xbone /\
pc have a hell of a lot more to render. and they do it fine. many things that cant be shown on a tv being plugged into a computer as well.

i am yet to be impressed by anything i have seen on the new consoles. my laptop can already do better.
