ABOUT In 2016, massive solar flares on the sun sent the Earth into a near-cataclysmic state. Temperatures on the Earth shot up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit worldwide. The majority of the vegetation on the planet dried up and died, and the water evaporated quickly. Oceans dropped. Billions died. A group in Germany had assembled, strangers (and some friends) had come together to head towards the Alps, where there was rumored to be water and maybe even snow. Along the road to the Alps, they would face many dangers. Bandits, wrecked bridges, food shortages, malfunctions..
The group is currently in their RV, stopping in a small town. They hope to fuel up on gas, car batteries, food, and fans. They wait for the sun to go down to be able to go outside for extended amounts of time, and when the sun sets, they will pick apart the town like vultures, scavenging every last bit of useful things.
TIME CHART 0000 - Midnight. Safe to go outside.
0100 - Safe to go outside. Coldest point of night. (90 degrees Fahrenheit)
0200 - Safe to go outside.
0300 - Safe to go outside.
0400 - Safe to go outside. Temperature begins rising.
0500 - First light. Safe to go outside. Temperature rising.
0600 - Sunrise. Somewhat safe to go outside. Temperature rising.
0700 - Somewhat safe to go outside. Temperature rising.
0800 - Safe to go outside for managed amounts of time. Temperature rising.
0900 - Safe to go outside for short amounts of time. Temperature rising.
1000 - Safe to go outside for very short amounts of time. Temperature rising.
1100 - Not safe to go outside for more than 15 minutes. Temperature rising.
1200 - Noon. Hottest point in the day. You will not survive more than 5 minutes of being outside.
1300 - Not safe to go outside for more than 15 minutes. Temperature lowering.
1400 - Safe to go outside for very short amounts of time. Temperature lowering.
1500 - Safe to go outside for short amounts of time. Temperature lowering.
1600 - Safe to go outside for managed amounts of time. Sun low in sky. Temperature lowering.
1700 - Somewhat safe to go outside. Temperature lowering.
1800 - Somewhat safe to go outside. Temperature lowering.
1900 - Somewhat safe to go outside. Temperature lowering.
2000 - Sunset. Safe to go outside.
2100 - Safe to go outside.
2200 - Safe to go outside.
2300 - Safe to go outside.
Note - solar flares may happen at any time and make it Noon-type weather.
FACTIONS There are only two factions in this roleplay.
//Survivors\\ - Those who are part of the group making their way to the Alps.
//Bandits\\ - Bandits are only temporary characters (most of the time). They are either people defending their residence, or those making their way to the Alps as well, trying to eliminate competition. Do not expect to develop these characters.
