Like the trench dirt, but the water version

You can place and dig out the trench water ONLY with a Trench Bucket

(Trench Bucket will be a advanced version of the Trench Shovel because it will both pick up and place water and dirt)

This sounds like it could be useful for making better barriers.

Sounds a little weird, like the whirlpool in the beginning of Shadow Warrior. Except someone used the dents tool in Paint.net and scattered every water block.

I think flowing water should be a[n] (Optional) feature, try digging around a water block lol.
It's awesome to troll physics in videogames.
Try balancing something on your head in Amnesia: The Dark Descent. WHILE STANDING.

Now crouch.

That object is now floating.

This would be cool. More placeable obstacles like barbed wire and stuff would be cool in a trench server too. Ooh! trench lava would be awesome too.

I think you could do this by editing the creeper script. I don't see how you'd optimize it though, it would probably be quite laggy.

Destiny made this already! He probably still has the code for the water.

Sweet Jesus!

anti-TNT barriers anyone?

yes all the suggestions in this are awesome

Or maybe minerals deep underground that you could sell for better weaponry/use to build stronger structures?

Other than trench wars you realize you could cut out water and make submersible builds? like sub bases? or lairs?

So this thread turned into general trench war add-on suggestions.

I would like the farther you go down the stronger the block type is

Ex:

You could remove and place down dirt quick, but the other team can destroy it fast aslo
You can remove and place stone a bit slower, but the enemy requires explosives to take it out
You can remove and place heavy stone slowly, but the enemies explosives are less effective against it.
