One would think that I'd kill myself if I were actually offended by a post like yours. Perhaps I'm offended by how nonsensical it was.

Also, gonna quote this again since it seems as though people missed it:
Well, that's the thing. Bullying is already against the rules. It was in pretty much every school I went to, and you go to a forgeted up school if it isn't.

The problem isn't (usually) the teachers, it's us, the students. The kid being bullied never told an authority figure, and witnesses just walked away.

As Night Fox said earlier in the thread, a rule doesn't apply if you aren't caught breaking it, and nobody is ever caught because of this stupid "snitching" mentality that we've created.

And reiterate on it: if you see someone being a richard, you're kind of a bigger richard by just saying "hey well sucks for them it happens to everybody-" No. By making that statement, you assume that it has to happen to everybody and that you are powerless against it. Unless half of the school is part of some super massive "bully clan", (or you live in someplace south where people against anyone who isn't a straight white male (in that case I suggest moving if the situation is that bad and if you're able)) I'm 95% sure there's something you, a small group of kids, or a teacher can do about it.

I've been bullied a couple times in middle school, whether it be racism or destruction of property, and either I said something about it or my friends have, and the problem stopped the next day.

well gay bashing is wrong and all. but i have no pitty for people who cant take verbal abuse.
grow the forget up. kids are coddled way to much these days and any little thing is to hard on them.

thisthisthis

I honestly don't think it's a really big deal. as long as it's limited to verbal stuff then you can just ignore it. I know I can
if it becomes physical then that's a different story but w/e

Some dude bullied me in middleschool about my size. I didn't see him until next year after I "accidentally" pushed him off the top of a play structure where he broke his arm and leg. Never bullied me again much less played sports anymore.

If you read my chain of posts I was talking about the internet and being offended about a petty message that someone wrote on a random forum. So yeah, be more butthurt pls.

Gay friends actually make the best wingmen.
