Author Topic: GTA IV invisible ground  (Read 4287 times)

Okay, so on my Intel HD Graphics Family video card, as well as what I think is an i7 processor, whenever I try to play GTA IV multiple textures turn invisible, including the ground mostly. It's very strange too, because when I try to drive Roman to the first destination, the game runs very smoothly
how2fix

I'm pretty confused about how you can even play that game at all with such a gpu

yep
of course
i guess it was good for me to have uninstalled it to save space
i was just wondering if there was still any way to fix it

get a graphics card

get a graphics card
it's a laptop
i don't think i can do that
oh well
i'm getting a new computer sometime this year

I installed GTA IV on my friend's laptop and the same thing happened. Shouldn't be trying to play games like that on it anyway.

Even on my actual discrete real gpu, gta IV has numerous graphics glitches because rockstar did a stuffty job porting the game. Just be glad that you can play it

You all are lucky, I have no GPU.

too bad you can't play the game properly if the ground and other textures are missing lmao.

your GPU can't handle all the textures.  get a new computer that doesn't suck.

He'd need a PC that is really eh.. I heard you need over 8gb ram to even support G-
wait GTA IV nvm.

It's not a texture glitch, it adds a random flat grey plane on top of the ground occasionally, so it looks like nico is wading through cement. The card is a 7850 on stock voltage, so, that's not the problem. Neither is the rest of my computer, I built it myself
